It's September, and my garden continues to impress with tomatoes and green beans galore. All the sweaty labor of spring's digging and planting has produced the gift that keeps on giving, even through shorter days and cooling temps. I've been savoring the season's ebb, lingering amidst towering sunflowers bowing to fall's approach, the upward ascent of withering tomato foliage, and yellowing vines still reaching to grasp for dear life.
