Honey Cider Salad Dressing ¼ cup mayonnaise ¼ cup ketchup 3 Tbsp apple cider vinegar (Bragg’s raw unfiltered apple cider is best) ¼ cup honey (use raw honey when possible) 2Tbsp red onion, diced very small ¼ tsp salt Fresh ground black pepper, to taste ½ cup olive oil Whisk mayo, ketchup, honey and cider vinegar in bowl, add red onion, salt and pepper. While whisking (place a damp cloth or paper towel under bowl to keep it from moving), very slowly add olive oil in a stream. You may use a blender if preferred, but add the red onion last. Adjust seasoning if needed. This recipe makes a little over 1 cup of dressing. | |
This tangy pale orange dressing will go anywhere French dressing will go, but without all the white sugar, vegetable oil and stabilizers found in grocery store varieties. The freshness of raw apple cider vinegar, with all it's health benefits, and raw organic honey whirled into a creamy cold drizzle will brighten any bed of greens with it's added nutritional boost. So stop buying off the shelf! This is way too fast and simple to make, and the flavor is far superior! 12/6/2022 05:33:24 am
